The first is of a 8 x 2k steady state workout with Mary Jones and Emily Schmieg, where we are shifting rates from 16-22 spm. In this clip, I am cruising at 22 and trying to keep the boat running flat while drawing the stern to me with my hamstrings.
The second clip is of a very challenging 20's and 30's workout going from 28 up to 36 spm. I am focusing on letting the legs dominate the drive and keeping that black bow of the LW2x away from me!
Overall, it's been awesome down here and I have especially enjoyed training with Dave O'Neill out of the UT boathouse. It's been so helpful feeding off the energy of a college team and having Dave around to keep the focus high and the main thing the main thing.
