Hosmer piece

This morning we did the Homser, 2.8 k at base rate.

We did it on our own, which was a good exercise for us. Wasn't perfect by any means but definitely going in the right direction. Lot of good intention and plenty of power. We crossed the line in around 8.50. I think the LM4x went around 8.30. Seems like they were pretty happy with their piece and are moving decently. Ben is by no means a natural bowman, but he's doing just fine. He is good at absorbing the rhythm and accelerating it, but wow, he's just horrible at steering. Thats fine though. Hopefully we won't be steering a whole lot at Trials.

Afterwards, we hurried to go help Larry with his set-up for a fundraiser happening at the Center tomorrow. He promised us Pizza and Beer, so that was the incentive to high-tail it from the dock.

I think tomorrow will be more base pace rowing for us at least. Then hopefully some rest.
